By installing 4.0 machinery, ICAM has completed its industrial upgrade and the final transfer of production to the new plant in Orsenigo.
ICAM, an ambassador worldwide for outstanding Italian quality in the art of chocolate making, has installed a new high technology machine which will allow the company to increase its production capacity and expand its range of products.
The machinery, named Chocostar, is part of the corporate strategic plan, started by ICAM in 2008. This 50,000 square meters modern plant enables the company to increase the amount of cocoa beans processed and to allow entry into new market sectors. The Chocostar is the third and final step of this investment, including a new cream line and three new conches for milk and dark chocolate.
The Chocostar will also improve the quality and appearance of the product, thanks to the Cool Core technology, which helps with stable solidification of the chocolate without any waste.
